Pictures and Poems

Here are some pictures and some poems, James loved to write poetry and had a way with words. Some of these are his own, and others were those he collected over the years and loved, from various other writers and poets. James did not keep a record of who wrote what, however if you see one and can give the author's name, please contact me as I will be more then glad to give credit and add the authors name to his or her's poem.

Sincerely,

" One wolf...One special moment "

A lone wolf on the prairie
Seeking a loving mate
Searched high and low and beyond
And by a babbling brook he drank
And stopped

For behold was a lovely Indian Maiden
Who sauntered over to him?
Touched him.... gazed into his eyes.
And fell in love

When I need you
Just close my eyes and I'm with you
And all that I so want to give you
Its only a heart beat away

When I need love
I hold out my hands and I touch love
I never knew there was so much love
Keeping me warm night and day

Miles and miles of empty space in between us
A telephone can't take the place of your smile
But you know I won't be traveling forever
Its cold out, but hold out and do like I do

When I need you
Just close my eyes and I'm with you
And all that I so want to give you babe
Its only a heartbeat away

The Rose

Slowly pulling petals
from a sweet and fragrant rose
Watching them fall from my fingertips
like winters falling snow

Knowing that each petal
protects the rose's heart
Still I pull them one by one
Gently taking it apart

Then when the petals are all gone
the last one on the ground
I see at last the tender heart
of the fragrant rose I found

Just as slowly you are pulling
every petal from
my heart

With every look and every touch
gently taking me apart
you know with every petal
you see right into my soul
But yet you pull them one by one

No longer am I whole
now that the petals are all gone
with my defenses down
you see at last the tender heart
Of the Fragrant Rose you found

Apache Wedding Prayer

Now you will feel no rain,
For each of you will be shelter to the other.

Now you will feel no cold,
For each of you will be warmth to the other.

Now there is no more loneliness,
For each of you will be companion to the other.

Now you are two bodies,
But there is only one life before you.

Go now to your dwelling place
To enter into the days of your togetherness

And may your days be good and long upon the earth.

(James's Favorite, of
Which was to be read at his wedding that he always wanted.)

Thank your for your kindness in letting me know about
James. Since I shared a lot of poetry with James. I
thought this would be good to share with all of you at
this time. I hope you don't mind. He was special
friend.

" In a world where true hearts are so rare,
another goodbye

As the angels get their wish,
stealing another from earth

Calling him to heaven,
despite those wanting otherwise. "

"Let Go"

Go with the angels waiting to free you from
all the pain
Take a few things in your heart.
A memory from each of us, Tears we gave you,
Laughter, and of course
Love we shared with you.

You've left things for each
of us as well,
Love, Laughter, Memories,
and your Strength.

Along with the piece
of you given to each of us
Within that love, In friendship,
Left to us to carry in Heart
and Memory.
for every Tomorrow
Without You

love and peace,
Michelle

Dear James,

I still cant believe you are gone,
my heart has been so devastated
when I learned of your passing.
I will never ever forget all you have done for me.

You taught me to love again, you taught me life and all it held, you were sent to me I still believe from the angels above to help that lonely night we spoke on yahoo messenger and all those time's there after.
I respected you for your honesty in telling me you had found someone you loved, and would not jeopardize that for anything, I admire that in you.

But you said you would help me in anyway you could, and that James, you were true to your word. My outlook on life is different now, I can laugh and smile and fine peace, that I was for so long without, thanks to you and all you instructed me in.

James, with tear fill eyes, I bid you farewell, and I know now, your Free at Last, Proud Native America, Proud Brave, and Proud Man, Peace be yours now, and I will always hold you close in heart.

Rest in Peace
All my love

James,

Silence now falls over the forest,
the Eagle fly's quietly, as it soars slowly in our skies,
The Wolf it's howls its lonesome cry each night,
as its call echoes through the mountains and valleys.
All know now you have gone and walk with the great spirits.
Be in Peace in Brother,
till that time we are united again,
to be in forever peace......

" FALLEN BRAVE "

A Brave has fallen
He will not be forgotten
his spirit dwells in those
Whose lives he touched

He has lead us
He has taught us
He has shown us the way
He gave us all of himself
Because he was made that way

He gave birth to an idea
that will never go away
He did this all
To save us some day
...As All heroes do...

Dear James,
It hurts me to have you gone, You were my best friend. I have cried so much now, I can no longer cry, and I thank you, for I know it was you who came and dried my tears, and touched my heart as you always did.
I know now that you will always be with me if and all I need to do is call your name. I leave with a favorite poem of mine.
Good Bye, my Proud Warrior

"And many a man with life out of tune,
All battered and scarred with sin,
is auctioned cheap to the thoughtless crowd,
Much like the old violin.

A "mess of pottage," a glass of wine;
A game - and he travels on.
He's "going" once, and "going" twice,
He's "going" and "almost gone."

But the Master comes, and the foolish crowd
Never can quite understand
the worth of a soul, and the change that's wrought"

"By the touch of the Master's hand."

DEAR GOD

God, is this just one more mountain I must climb
Alternatively, is it my last?
I must confess, it looks so high
Not sure if I can climb this one this time

I am afraid
That is just between you and I
I could not say that to anyone else
I feel tears in my eyes, tears in my heart
Looking back, I have had so much

I am thankful
Never fully appreciating
God, is this one more mountain to climb?
Alternatively, is it my last?

Are you going to give me the strength and courage?
I need to reach the top this time.
I have lived, I have cried
I have laughed, I have loved
However, I feel like I have so much more
That I want to do in my life

God, is this just one more mountain to climb?
Alternatively, is it my last?
Please I want so much to reach the peak again
I want to float on my own special cloud again

I have so much more laughter,
So much more passion for life
So much more love to give

Please God, the tears are beginning to well up
In me now

Is this just one more mountain to climb?

Or is it my Last?
